Horses, Healing, and Harmony

Celebrate the changing season with a unique Fall Equinox Gathering that blends the restorative benefits of horses, yoga, and sound healing. Participants will enjoy a gentle yoga experience in the presence of horses, creating opportunities for mindfulness and connection. You will be gently guided through grounding exercises to prepare for a soothing sound healing bath which will allow participants to deepen relaxation, reflect on the season’s transition, and cultivate balance, gratitude, and inner peace. The session will conclude with time for reflection and community around the bonfire.

Our certified yoga instructor, JoAnn, will lead you through the grounding exercises. The sound healing bath will be facilitated by Allegra Fosses, owner of Wyld and Wondr. She is a certified sound bath practitioner, as well as being certified in chair yoga and children’s yoga. She has taught a variety of fitness classes around the Chicagoland area, including Zumba, Pilates, WERQ, kickboxing, and strength training.

Class will take place in our temperature-controlled indoor (soft sand) arena or outside in one of our horse pastures. Wear layered clothes and comfortable pants and shoes.

Drink plenty of water beforehand. Please arrive by 5:45 pm so we can start on time. There will either be someone at the front office to take the group back to the arena/pasture or signs and cones indicating where to go. We have mats available, but you may bring your own or an old towel to use as a mat or under your mat. You may also want to bring a chair for sitting around the bonfire.

No riding is involved, so horse experience is not necessary.

Online Registration will close 24-hours prior to the class. You may contact the office at info@thelegacyranch.org before 4:00 pm on the day of the class to see if we still have spots available. Sorry we cannot accept walk-ins or late arrivals.

Refunds will not be issued for participant cancellations made less than 1 week before your selected class date.  Cancellations requested on or before Sunday, September 13th can opt to apply the registration fee to another class date (if applicable) or receive a refund (a processing fee will be deducted from the refund.)

We kindly ask that only the registered participants are here during the class time. For the safety of all our clients/guests and our horses, all horse areas (barns, stall aisles, arenas, and pastures) are strictly prohibited without a staff member present, so we cannot allow participants or guests to visit the horses before, during, or after an event (unless it is part of the event with an instructor.)

A minimum of 12 participants is needed to run the class.  We will contact you if we need to reschedule or cancel a class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.  If we cancel the class, you will have the option to apply the registration fee to the rescheduled date (if applicable) or another class date or receive a refund.
