Pilates in the Pasture
Pilates in the Pasture
Friday, July 31st at 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Ages 18+
Join us for our first Pilates in the Pasture class! The class will be led by certified instructor, Taylor, founder/owner of Pilates House Lemont. This mat Pilates class is for all levels and will focus on breathwork, mobility, core strength, and deep stretching.
One or more of our horses will be present as co-facilitators in deepening the flow of energy and breath individually and collectively. Horses naturally do this for each other in their herds; what benefits one, benefits all as they coregulate each other. You will have time for a short visit with one or more of our horses at the end of the Pilates session.
Class will take place in our temperature-controlled indoor (soft sand) arena or outside in one of our horse pastures. Wear comfortable pants and shoes. .
Drink plenty of water beforehand. Please arrive by 5:15 pm so we can take the whole group back to set up before class. We have mats available, but you may bring your own or an old towel to use as a mat or under your mat.
No riding is involved, so horse experience is not necessary.
All participants that are attending this class must sign a waiver prior to entering the ranch. Please use the following link to sign a waiver: Hello Sign link
Online Registration will close 24-hours prior to the class. You may contact the office at info@thelegacyranch.org before 4:00 pm on the day of the class to see if we still have spots available. Sorry we cannot accept walk-ins or late arrivals.
Refunds will not be issued for participant cancellations made less than 1 week before your selected class date. Cancellations requested on or before the Friday before your selected class date (1 week prior) can opt to apply the registration fee to another class date or receive a refund (a processing fee will be deducted from the refund.)
We kindly ask that only the registered participants are here during the yoga. For the safety of all our clients/guests and our horses, all horse areas (barns, stall aisles, arenas, and pastures) are strictly prohibited without a staff member present, so we cannot allow participants or guests to visit the horses before, during, or after an event (unless it is part of the event with an instructor.)
A minimum of 7 participants is needed to run each class. We will contact you if we need to reschedule or cancel a class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel the class, you will have the option to apply the registration fee to the rescheduled date (if applicable) or another class date or receive a refund.
